Sendoff

Files, sent off in a second.

Send a file to the people you send to most, in a few keystrokes from the notch.

By Gmail or iMessage. Drop it, pick the person, press Send off. You never open a mail app or attach anything by hand.

What makes it unique

Your regulars, one drop away.

  1. 1

    It lives in the notch.

That's space every MacBook has and almost nothing uses. Drag a file up, the notch opens to take it, and it's gone. No window to find, no app to switch to.

Drag up → the notch opens

  2. 2

    It's built around your regulars.

Other share tools start from every app and contact. Sendoff starts from your few regulars, ranked by who you actually send to. It remembers how you reach each one: the last channel used is the default, and Tab switches.

  3. 3

    It knows what will work.

Before you press send. A 48 MB video skips Gmail and goes by iMessage, with a note saying why. Uploads start while you're still choosing, so sending feels instant.

It's all keyboard, if you want it.

Drop, type “jules”, Enter, Enter. ⌘V puts a copied file into the notch.

  5. 5

    You can take it back.

A three-second undo covers the “wrong person” moment that email never forgives.

What makes it magical

You watch it go.

  • You watch the file leave.

The arrow lifts off the button, flies into the notch and sits beside the camera with a small flame while the upload runs. You can get back to work. The edge of your screen tells you when it lands, or if it fails.

  • There's almost nothing to it.

You only see the person, the file and one button. That's the anti-bloat bet.

Privacy

It sends what you send off. Nothing else.

  • Runs on your Mac

Your regulars, their ranking and how you reach each one are kept on your Mac.

  • Gmail or iMessage, from your Mac

Gmail sends through Google. iMessage sends through Messages on your Mac. Sendoff runs no file relay of its own.

  • Send-only Gmail access

Sendoff asks Google for one permission: send a message you start. It can't read your inbox.

How Sendoff uses Google data

Sign in with Google connects the Gmail account that sends your file. Sendoff requests one permission, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send, to send the message you start. It does not let the app list, open, or change your mailbox.

The file is attached on your Mac and sent through Gmail. Sendoff does not use Google data for ads. You can disconnect in the app, or revoke Sendoff in your Google Account.
