From your Mac
Send a voice memo from your Mac.
A quick note for your teammate, a recording for your mom. Voice Memos can send it without saving a file first.
Use the Share button
- Open Voice Memos and select the recording.
- Click the Share button, then choose an app, such as Mail or Messages.
- Add the person and send it.
Drag it into an email or message
Drag the recording from the Voice Memos window into a new email or a Messages conversation.
Save it as a file, then attach it
Drag the recording to a Finder window to save it in the folder you choose. Then attach it in Gmail or anywhere else. See Email a file from your Mac.
Send it from the notch with Sendoff
Sendoff is a Mac app that lives in the notch. Drag the saved recording to the notch, pick the person, press Send off. It remembers whether they get Gmail or iMessage, and you get three seconds to undo.
